NvR Redux - Secondary results and works-in-progress
Abstract:
CPCRA NvR 042, an equivalence trial comparing two protease inhibitors closed on December 31, 2001. The study followed 775 patients for a median time of approximately 42 months. The primary results have previously been presented. To date, the study is of one of the largest, long term randomized trials of HIV+ patients on highly active antiretroviral therapy that has data on clinical outcomes.
In this talk, I will discuss on-going work on the study. This will include an overview of the progress on the analysis of the resistance sub-study (CPCRA 045), and a discussion on several analyses relating surrogate markers to clinical outcomes.
