Tim Hanson
Associate Professor
Division of Biostatistics

Background:

I received a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology (1992), an M.A. in Mathematics from the University of New Mexico (1996), and M.S. (1998) and Ph.D. (2000) degrees in Statistics from U.C. Davis. My dissertation advisor was Wes Johnson.

I joined the Division of Biostatistics Fall of 2005 after five years at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Mexico. My research interests include Bayesian hierarchical modeling, survival analysis, Bayesian nonparametric priors, and problems in veterinary epidemiology. Publications.
