The file "Pig_jawbone_Whitey_only" contains only the data for the single pig, Whitey, that was analyzed in Chapter 4. The file "Pig_jawbone_7_pigs" contains data for all 7 pigs in this study. In "Pig_jawbone_Whitey_only", the left-most column identifies the transect (1, 2, ..., 9), the second column identifies whether that transect is in the coronal, middle, or apical third of the implant, the third column gives the distance of the measurement from the implant (in mm), and the last two columns give the elastic modulus and hardness measurements measured at that location on that transect. In "Pig_jawbone_7_pigs", the left-most column identifies the length of time (in months) that the pig's implant healed before it was loaded (1, 2, or 4 months), the second column identifies the pig (there are 7 pigs), the third column identifies the transect on which the measurement was made. The fourth column identifies the type of bone in which the transect lay (cortical or trabecular), while the fifth column identifies whether the transect was in the coronal, middle, or apical third of the implant (C, M, or A). The sixth column gives the distance along the transect at which the measurement was made (in mm), and the last two columns give the elastic modulus and hardness measured at that location on that transect.
