The object of this course is to learn to use SAS procedures to carry out statistical analyses. The focus will be on various forms of regression: linear, logistic, nonlinear, proportional hazards, and other.

Students should have had a year of statistics at the graduate level (e.g., PH 6450-6451 or the equivalent) and some familiarity with SAS.

The course will include weekly computing homework assignments. These may be completed using PC SAS, Unix SAS (Version 8 or higher), and other statistical tools (Excel, others).
